Forty-Two Company tasked Venture RE creating a new Co-working concept at Summerfield Commons Office Park. This concept (Venture Office) was intended to reinvent a suburban office park and provide new amenities and flexible leasing options demanded of modern office parks. VRE established this by designing and building a common hub tenants within the park can utilize for conferences, meetings, events, and printing/office services. Venture Office also allows provides a solution for the entire business life cycle. With Venture Office a business can start with as little as a hot desk membership and scale to a private suite built to suit business needs without worrying about getting stuck in a space they’ve outgrown.

 

Design

Once exposed the cinder block walls, and concrete floors and ceilings, made for a great canvas. Only adding materials absolutely fundamental for a functional and friendly office space accentuate this canvas. Glass interior walls allow natural light to shine throughout the entire work space. The solid oak surfaces provide a warm contrast. Minimalist light fixtures give way to carefully chosen electrical conduit paths forming an installation in and of itself.

VRE’s construction management team managed all aspect of construction from demolition to punch-list.


Management

VRE implemented a software suite that enabled flexible leasing options, bookable meeting spaces, tenant collaboration, and work order management all from a single tenant portal.
